Christchurch International Airport (CHC) is the main airport on the island and the only airport offering international flights. Located seven miles from the city centre, it is a bustling airport serving more than 600,000-passengers a year. Transport to and from the airport is readily available with car hire companies, regular bus service, as well as minibuses and taxis all operating daily.
